Please make sure your child has the appropriate supplies for the rest of the school year. Many students have been showing up to school the past couple of weeks without pencils or paper.
Anyone interested in finding out more information about foster care, there will be a foster care informative meeting on March 20th at 6:00. It will take place at the DFACS office at the administrative building. Please call 1-877-210-KIDS for more information.
Spring Pictures are scheduled for Monday, March 26th.
There will be no school for students on Friday, March 30th.

Mr. Wright's science classes will continue work on Electricity. Students have been encouraged to bring in examples of circuits to demonstrate in class. All Mobymax lessons are due by Wednesday.
Mr. Page's class has a test over Unit 8 Tuesday. We will begin our unit on economics on Wednesday.
In Dr. Randolph's class, we are studying the "Cold War" after WWII. Students have a Southern book report due by the end of the quarter.
In Dr. Randolph's class, we are writing an argumentative essay about standing for the "Pledge of Allegiance". Vocabulary 14 quiz is this Friday.
Students have a 4th quarter book report due by the end of the year.
This week in Mrs. Wright's class, we are beginning March Madness, a mini-poetry unit to review figurative language, using poems in our lit book. Friday, we will have a vocabulary quiz. I will assign the independent novel project for the last nine weeks Thursday, and it will be due Tuesday, May 8.
In Mrs. Colvin's class, we will be solving systems of equations by graphing. The Chapter 12 Test will take place Tuesday, March 27th.
